What does compassion look like when it becomes action? On Compassion Sunday, our church was invited into a powerful opportunity to participate in what God is doing through a school in Maipú, Chile — a place bringing hope, stability, education, and discipleship to students living in the midst of violence and loss. Through stories, challenge, and invitation, we were reminded that the Kingdom of God often moves forward through ordinary acts of faithful generosity and relational love. Together, our church stepped into the opportunity to sponsor an entire graduating class and become part of these students’ stories in the name of Jesus.
