Annual Boundary County 9/11 Memorial Observance. County fairgrounds pavilion, 6:00 PM, rain or shine. Please come, remember, and honor the victims of hateful terror while finding hope in our nation's resilience and determination to persevere in freedom and peace. Sponsored by Boundary County Chaplain Corps and Boundary County Fire Rescue Honor Guard in partnership with all emergency services agencies in Boundary County. Seating available for those that need it.

n honor of those whose lives were lost or permanently impacted on Sept. 11, 2001, the Boundary County Chaplain Corps is sponsoring a local commemoration at the Boundary County Fairgrounds pavilion on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 5: 30 p.m.

The new Angel 1 support vehicle is getting closer to flying! New graphics just went on, and interior work is being done to control all the resources we pack on board to support our area’s first responders and citizens in emergency situations. We’re grateful for our partnership with Boundary County and area businesses and individuals to help us provide this service to the community.

First Responder Appreciation Dinner! On Saturday, December 9, Boundary County Chaplain Corps is hosting a drop-in dinner for all first responders in Boundary County from 4-7 PM at the Covenant Bible Church facility on Hwy 95 near 3-Mile. All first responders and their families are invited to attend at no cost to them! Catered by Eli Pine, the meal is simply an opportunity to express thanks for all that our first responders do for our community. If you would like to join in that appreciation, please help us sponsor the event with a financial gift toward the cost of the food. If you are an LEO (including reserves), firefighter, EMT/Paramedic, or SAR, please RSVP by commenting on this post, along with how many will be in your party. We will also be putting up a money tree to help Paramedic John Minden's family get back on their feet after the recent devastating fire at their home, so please come prepared to give generously.
