"She was a one of one and no one will ever come close," she types alongside several photos of the two of them together.

"It's alright to be sad that this world lost a legend, but heaven gained an angel. Well don, good and faithful Dolly. Welcome home."

I never had the privilege of meeting Dolly, but somehow, it felt like we all knew her. She paved the way for generations of artists and entertainers and has always been such an inspiration to me.

Heaven gets sweeter every day. I’m so thankful for the years of incredible music she gave us. Dolly will be deeply missed. 🤍
