Assalamu Alaikum everyone,
I’m excited (and a little nervous!) to share something new that I’ve been working on called Manifest Modesty.
The goal is simple: create a modest clothing donation and thrift initiative that helps make modest clothing affordable while encouraging sadaqah in our community. Many of us have closets full of beautiful clothing that could benefit someone else, while others—especially revert sisters, students, and families on tight budgets—often struggle to find modest clothing that is accessible and affordable.
Manifest Modesty will collect gently used modest clothing and make it available at very affordable prices, while also distributing items to those in need.
To launch this project, I’m trying to raise $5,000 in start-up funding to cover supplies, storage, shipping materials, and the website needed to get everything running.
If just 100 people gave $50, the entire initiative could launch right away, inshaAllah.
