Fields of Faith night!

Ignite Bonham, we’re heading to Fields of Faith tomorrow night, October 21! Come spend the evening with us as we gather with other students to worship and focus on Jesus.

We’ll leave FCC Bonham at approximately 6:15 PM, so please arrive a little early so we can get everyone loaded up. The event starts at 7:00 PM at Panther Stadium.

Bring a friend and let us know if you’re coming so we can plan for rides!

🔥Devotional🔥

The One True God

Main Scripture: Isaiah 45:5 (NIV)
“I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God.”

Every day, something is competing for the top spot in our lives. It might be popularity, sports, relationships, money, social media, or what other people think about us. None of those things are necessarily bad, but they become a problem when we look to them for the purpose, security, or identity that only God can give us. The Bible teaches that there is only one true God. He is not one option among many, and He is not just someone we turn to when life gets difficult. He created us, knows us completely, and loves us more deeply than anyone else ever could.

Jesus said in John 17:3 (NIV) that eternal life is found in knowing “the only true God” and Jesus Christ, whom He sent. Christianity is more than simply knowing facts about God. It is about personally knowing Him through Jesus.

The world may tell you to build your life around yourself, follow whatever feels right, or let other people decide your worth. God offers something better. He gives us truth when everything feels confusing, purpose when we feel lost, and a place to belong when we feel like we do not fit in.

First Corinthians 8:6 (NIV) reminds us that there is “one God, the Father” and “one Lord, Jesus Christ.” There may be many voices asking for your attention, but only one God deserves your worship and the highest place in your life.

The question is not just, “Do I believe God exists?” The deeper question is, “Does the way I live show that He is my God?”
