The guilt that is keeping you from apologizing is the same guilt that should be pushing you to do it. You will get no relief, and you will be antagonized until you apologize. Do it and then apologize to yourself for holding back.

Everybody’s greatness they spew out, display, and gloat to you is not their own. They take bits from others to shape themselves. Or they take all from those on a smaller platform or not as noticed, and polish what they get from them and use it as their own. You don’t have to be one of them. You don’t have to make someone else you. God will give you your own.

We have to be careful with our giving advice and guidance. Just because we’ve gone through a similar situation does not mean we should tell the advicee what they should do. Experiences can be the same, but the feelings are different.

God asked Moses, “What is that in your hand?” Not that God didn’t know the answer, but Moses didn’t know the beautiful usage of what was in his hand until God showed Him. What is in your hand that you do not know how to make Godly usage out of? If you do not know, ask God so He can tell you and direct you. You want your hand working to mean something. As the lawn cutting season has ended for me, I reflect on the weekly task of making sure our yard looks a certain way so that my wife is good with it, and then me. God has given me the hand-eye coordination to ensure the commission is done admirably. I don’t want the yard just cut, but I see the art in what I am to do and want it reflected. God gives me the ability to get it done and I want my appreciation shown to Him. I think of the times over the years when passersby would slow to look at the lawnmower I’m using. What they didn’t know was, it wasn’t the mower, it was the mind and my intent for the yard to be presentable. I had a Honda for many years and then went to Craftsman when it wore so it wasn’t the machine. For you, there is a way you do what do and those who see it think it is because of what they sense, but you know differently. You know God has given you not only something different, but a different way of viewing what you are to do and how. Don’t pull back!
