Paleontologists were stunned when a fossil discovery revealed one of the most perfectly preserved dinosaurs ever found. The specimen, a 110 million year old nodosaur, appears so well preserved that parts of its internal structure, including traces of intestines, remained visible within the fossil.

Unlike most dinosaur fossils that consist only of bones, this discovery preserved the body almost like a natural mummy. The nodosaur’s armored plates, skin texture, and body shape were still clearly defined, offering scientists an extraordinary view of how the animal once looked in life.

The fossil was discovered by workers operating heavy equipment at an oil sands mine in Alberta, Canada. When the massive rock slab was carefully examined, researchers realized it contained an incredibly intact dinosaur body embedded within the stone.

Nodosaurs were plant eating dinosaurs protected by heavy armor that covered their backs and sides. Their bodies were built low to the ground and covered with thick plates and spikes that helped defend them from predators.

Because the fossil preserved so much of the original body form, scientists were able to study details rarely visible in dinosaur fossils. The shape of the armor, the arrangement of the skin, and even the contents of the digestive system provided valuable information about how these animals lived.

More than one hundred million years later, this extraordinary fossil still carries the silent story of a dinosaur frozen in time.

I don't want to elaborate on the story as I feel it's not my place Michelle and her three children come to our church when they can get there. We are a small church we are helping out financially and praying for them. They could absolutely use more prayer and more money. If you can give it all please do
