Sunday School update:
We are taking a break from Sunday School during the month of August and over the Labor Day weekend.
We look with excitement toward the fall! Beginning at 9:30 a.m. on September 13, Dr. Lori Cohen will lead a series on a congregational approach to mental illness. Should be interesting and informative! The series will run through October 4.

Sunday School (at 9:30 a.m.) will continue this week, 7/12, with our series on Moments of Grace. Sandy will lead part 2 of her contribution. From Sandy: Last week we discussed my story of a friend who got kicked out of his house for being gay. I mentioned that I had shared with him a story my mom had written 10 years after learning that her son (my brother Tim) was gay. While she did not ever reject him, her story includes her thoughts and studies over those years which led her to a deeper acceptance and support of him. This week I will read that story, "It's About Tim."

Our Moments of Grace series begins this Sunday for the month of July! You are invited to share your own story of a time you received grace, or extended grace. Sandy will lead the first session at 9:30 this Sunday, the 5th. Offer to share your story on the 12th or the 26th. Lori Cohen will lead on the 19th.

Sunday School Update:
For the remainder of June, Susie Danielsson will continue leading our study of Dismantling the Patriarchy with the Bible.

In July, we will hear from each other our stories of "Moments of Grace." Each person is invited to take a week to tell of a time in your life that either you felt that you were the recipient of grace, or that you were called upon to extend grace to someone else. Let Sandy know if you would like to lead a week. Can't wait to hear your stories!

In August, we will take the month off from Sunday School.
