Bearcaching is live!! The first 15 balls are hidden and ALL 15 have hints!

View the reminders at the end of the post and the previous guidelines for more information. Your course of action in Bearcaching is:
1. Find a numbered ball (one per person)
2. Bring ball with number to the SA office
3. Pick out a gift card!

November Clubs in Review!

Check out what some of SBU’s Clubs and Organizations did during the month of November!

Student Missouri State Teachers Association (SMSTA) walked in the Bolivar Christmas Parade where they handed out over 1600 crayons to local children.

The Creative Writing Club (CWC) organized a food drive in collaboration with the Open Hearts United Methodist Church in Bolivar to restock their Blessing Boxes.

A Blessing Box is a small, stand-alone box that sits outside of a residence or business where people can donate food and where those less fortunate can get a quick bite to eat without needing to go through a food pantry. The CWC members shown are Careena Campbell, Josey Murphy, Krista Noble, Leah Wirth, and Kira Zook.

NAfME (National Association for Music Education) packed Operation Christmas Child boxes with SA!

October Clubs in Review!

Check out what some of SBU’s Clubs and Organizations did during the month of October!

Locamente hosted their 10 pm Thursday worship service in Randolph chapel with Flannel Night!

Abundant Life Club helped with a Pro-Life banquet put on by Bolivar Alpha House at The Heights church!

Makers Club took on and printed a number of new projects including a music note dice, a 2-colored frog test, a Star Wars helmet, a broken pot from Zelda, and a cat with sunglasses model!

Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI) hosted a Panel Discussion and Q & A Event on October 24th with special guests Dr. Woodyard, Dr. Neal, and Dr. Rice!

The Student Association is inviting dorms and clubs around campus to partner with them in packing Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. These shoeboxes bless children in need around the world and support the Great Commission as every box contains a Bible and Gospel presentation for the children that receive them.

Come pick up a shoebox tomorrow to fill over the weekend or fill one next week before the collection deadline!
SA's Shoebox Packing Party is on Tuesday, November 7 at 6:30pm, come join with shoebox items and pack a shoebox with us!
