The third week in May, the high school students partnered with SBU to go on a mission trip to Baptist Hill Camp in Mount Vernon, Missouri. The goal was for the students to get the camp ready to be opened for the 2500+ kids it will serve over the summer. Our team accomplished things ranging from cleaning cabins, picking up rocks and sticks, power, washing showers, power washing the bus, cleaning the entire kitchen from floor to ceiling, getting the pool ready for use, and many many other tasks. Students also had time each day for socializing and spending some time in God‘s word. We had devotion and worship time each evening that was student led. The last evening there we were able to eat dinner with the camp’s Board of Trustees and go on a prayer walk with them. It was such a blessing to be able to help prepare the camp for use this summer.
