On Sunday, Samantha MacIntyre-Olson spoke about God's purpose for each of our unique gifts. In God's Kingdom, we are one body - consisting of many parts. Our differences and gifts are all a part of God's Design.

Pastor Samantha Olsen preached yesterday on how we are all uniquely wired for impact. One of the ways we can do that is by praying and asking God how He may want us to serve an individual around us in need by sharing the love of Christ with them. There are so many different ways to serve. If you're interested in serving in a ministry at Westbrook, check out this link at https://westbrook.church/serve/. May these songs inspire you to seek God for ways you can serve others this week.

You don’t have to be like someone else to make a difference in God’s kingdom.

In Week 5 of Built Different, we explore how God uses our unique gifts, passions, and experiences to serve others and strengthen the church. Romans 12 reminds us that we each have a meaningful role to play, and when we embrace how God has wired us, we can serve with purpose and make an impact.

Our annual community Trunk or Treat is Friday, October 30, from 6:00–8:00 PM, and we need trunk hosts to make it a great night for the families in our neighborhood!

Gather some family and friends and host a trunk together. Here’s what hosting includes:

Picking your own fun, non-scary theme (superheroes, fall, sports, or anything else you dream up!)
Decorating your trunk to match
Bringing some candy to pass out
Providing a carnival-style game for kids and families to play as they come by

Every trunk will be judged on its theme and game, and the winning trunk gets a special prize! 🏆

Pastor Mont preached about important shifts in our thinking. God cares about who and what are shaping our thoughts. We can't let the world do our thinking for us!

10/12/2026

On Sunday, Pastor Mont preached on how the Gospel can help us change the way we think, whether it's about ourselves, others, or the world we live in. May we live by the truths of Romans 12:1-2: "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's very, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will." (NIV)

May these songs help you towards that end:

As we continue our series Built Different, we look at how God transforms us by renewing our minds.

Romans 12 reminds us that the way we think shapes the way we live, and following Jesus means learning to see ourselves, others, and our circumstances differently. As we allow God to reshape our perspective, He begins transforming us from the inside out.

As we continue our series Built Different, we look at how God trans...

Thirty years of Westbrook is thirty years of God’s faithfulness 🎉
As we celebrate what He has done and look ahead to what He will continue to do, this week we are reminded what it means to persevere with Jesus.

Romans 8 shows us that perseverance isn’t about pretending we’re strong — it’s about trusting God in the waiting, finding strength in our weakness, and remembering that nothing can separate us from His love. We may not know what comes next, but we can trust the One who does.
