At Victory, we believe God created us to “enjoy life together.” By creating an authentic community, we benefit and grow from cultivating meaningful relationships that bring healing, encouragement, and joy to our lives and others. We foster healing by participating in Life Groups. A LifeGroup is a gathering of three or more people with common interest, who meet regularly to build meaningful relationships as they grow in Christ. It is our goal that every member of Victory would be connected to a LifeGroup that is perfectly suited for them. Empowerment | Discover Your Purpose & Live to Be Missed
At Victory, our desire is for all people to understand their purpose, discover their spiritual gifts and then use them to make a difference in the world for Christ. We ask each Victory Walker to give yourself away (G.Y.A.) by 1) Jumping in to serve on a ministry, 2) Live to be Missed, by serving in the community and 3) perform acts of love and kindness using our Gift’ed by God cards.

Some moments cannot be fully explained. You had to be there.
Pastor Smokie Norful launched the new sermon series, “SHOW UP: I’m All In,” with a powerful message titled “You Had to Be There.”
When we show up fully surrendered, God meets us in ways that leave a lasting mark. Worship was lifted. Faith was strengthened. Lives were changed. We are all in for what God is doing at Victory!

Pastor Smokie Norful led Victory in showing up for families in Gary, Indiana, after many residents had been without electricity for weeks.

We delivered food, essential supplies, and gift cards through the YWCA of Northwest Indiana, City Life Center, and Gary Community Schools, helping provide practical support to people navigating the prolonged disruption.

When our neighbors are hurting, we show up. We serve. We give. We love.

This is faith in action, being the hands and feet of Jesus and bringing hope and help where it’s needed.

Fear can make you forget what God has already done. But the same God who brought you out is the same God who will bring you through.
In Exodus 14:10–14, Israel stood trapped between Pharaoh’s army and the Red Sea. Fear said there was no way forward. Moses declared, “Fear not. Stand firm. See the salvation of the Lord.”
Pastor Smokie Norful reminds us at Victory Cathedral Worship Center that sometimes what looks like a barrier is the very place God will reveal His power. The Red Sea was not the end of Israel’s story. It became the place where they discovered who God was.
You do not have to live hostage to fear. Face what is in front of you. Follow God by faith. Finish in freedom.
Whatever your Red Sea looks like today, remember: God already knows the way through.
