We had our first campus Bible study at COD on 9/30. Five new ones came to the meeting. We had a sweet fellowship over Chapter one of the gospel of John, specifically on light and the children of God. All the students shared our understanding and genuine experience!

John 1:4-5 In Him was life and the life was the light of men. In the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.

The Lord is the light. The function of the light is shining. When the light shines, the darkness is no more. This is the true light. We can receive light on the Word. The Lord, the word of God should be our only light in our daily life.

John 1:12-13 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of God, to those who believe into His name, Who were begotten not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

The Gospel of John is on The Gospel of Life. Jesus Christ Is God the Savior Coming as Life. We who believed into the Lord are children of God. Not only our sins were cleansed, but more importantly, we are regenerated, having divine life and nature. This is not of the will of man, but of God. It is His will that we become children of God.

Praise the Lord for a wonderful fellowship on the Gospel. The Lord is the vine, and we are the branches. He desires every branch to bear fruit that the Father would be glorified. Opening our home and invite people over is a very good way for the gospel.

John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing.

John 15:16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and I set you that you should go forth and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He may give you.

We had our first Christians on Campus welcome event at COD. 10 students joined. Claire and Nikki introduced the club and talked about our future club activities. It was so wonderful to be with young students who love the Lord at their young age. Hope they continue to come back for the weekly campus bible study at COD.

Please pray that the Lord would bless the students and gain them as remaining fruits.

Bible Tabling @ College of DuPage

Several brothers and sisters participated Bible tabling at the College of DuPage. We met many seekers. Many fishes jumped to the boat! May the Lord continue to bring seekers to the table.
