We meet Sunday mornings at 10:00am at the Broadway Dance Studio located at 893 E Boise Avenue near the intersection of Boise Avenue and Apple Street (near Timberline High School). River's Edge Church exists to bring real life answers that can only be found in Jesus Christ. You won't find a myrid of programs or a crowded calendar of events, you will simply find a group of people who are passionate
about God, committed to one another and who desire to make a difference in their community. A Gathering - Our church service is called a gathering, it is a time for people to express their thankfulness to God, learn about Jesus and Bible teachings, receive prayer and connect with other people who are pursuing their relationship with Christ. We find this model for “Church” in Acts 2:42 (And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.) Because of this gatherings have components similar to many churches, but they are orchestrated to emphasize each individual part. Our desire is that all people leave a gathering having connected with Jesus and other people. Authentic People - Our gatherings are not filled with perfect people but rather real people who face real problems who have found strength, comfort, and peace through serving a very real God. Connecting with Others - We provide an opportunity at every gathering for you to linger and build relationships with other people who are pursuing Christ. We believe that this is an important part of all of our spiritual growth. As we build relationships with other followers of Christ, those relationships strengthen our relationship to God. At the same time, our relationship with Christ strengthens our relationships with others. Community Minded - The church is more than just a gathering place for believers but rather a rally point for Christ’s followers to go and impact their community. Mother Teresa once said, “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.” Jesus told the disciples to be a light in the world. Because of this we are a church that is passionate about serving our community. In fact, 10% of church income goes back into the community we love.
