Hey guys! Instead of meeting at the Watkin's house for college group tomorrow night (Nov.12), we'll be going to Winter Jam together! The concert starts at 7 pm, but if you don't want to mess with parking, meet at FBC at 5:45 and we can carpool. Admission is $10 at the door. Invite your friends! Hope to see you all there!

Here is a video taken by a former FBC College Group member, Brittany Mars, when she visited our group's sponsor child, Marie Claire, in her village of Bugesera, Rwanda a few years ago. Marie Claire is very quiet and soft spoken, so it's a little difficult to hear her. :)

Hey Everyone!

So this year we have an awesome opportunity to be a part of our church's mission to reach the local community (Core Value #4) with a Harrison Blvd. Halloween Improv Show Event!

The event will be Friday, October 31st from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. This is a great chance to dress up and have a good time while serving the community with love, candy and hot chocolate! Sean will be hosting a Recycled Minds Improv show as a means of engaging the kids and their parents with laughter and participation.

There are many ways to serve for this event and my prayer is that God will lead you to step out in faith and love for Jesus and people and be a light to the surrounding area of our church. Some of the ways in which you can serve are with the set-up team, information and hot chocolate tables, passing out candy, or the tear down team.

Please consider taking some time out of your Halloween Event plans to come and be a part of God's Kingdom building through First Baptist Church.
