🌾 What is servant leadership? 🌾

I’ve been blessed to witness it firsthand all week at Buckaroo Bible Camp — and it’s beautiful to see!

It looks like…
🐴 A crew showing up early to prep horses, games, and snacks.
☀️ A team staying late to make sure everything’s ready for tomorrow.
🚰 Elder Kevin Smoot and Ty hauling a water truck to fill stock tanks when the spigot broke.
🐎 The horse team standing in the heat to give every single kid a turn to ride and learn new skills.
🛠️ Pastor Randy, this morning, in the mud fixing the spigot so the horses have water again.

These quiet acts of service remind me of Jesus’ words:

“Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.” (Mark 10:43–44)

And also:

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” (1 Peter 4:10)

And my personal favorite bible verse:

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” (Philippians 2:3–4)

Praise God for people who lead like Jesus — by serving others! 💛

On April 19th, our men's group gathers at 8am and women's group at 1pm.

Then, on April 20th, celebrate Easter with us at 11am, featuring a special reenactment for kids, food, fellowship, and an Easter egg hunt following the service.
