“It’s Working for Us.”
But is it really working for us, or is it only working for you?
Perhaps the other person has simply submitted to your way of doing things to avoid arguments, maintain peace, or out of fear of losing you. From the outside, it may appear that everything is working. But how will this affect them in the long run? More importantly, how will it affect your relationship, your marriage, your business, or your ministry?
When a person is constantly giving, sacrificing, compromising, and accommodating the needs of others without feeling seen, heard, valued, or experiencing any meaningful change, resentment can begin to build.
Over time, that resentment may erupt in frustration and anger. Or they may quietly withdraw and seek a safe space where they feel noticed, appreciated, understood, and cared for.
Healthy relationships require open and honest communication, mutual consideration, and a genuine willingness to hear and understand each other’s hearts. 💕
It’s time to have Conversations That Matter.
