Sunday Sermon Reflection⛪️
June 7, 2026
📖Scripture: Mark 10:46-52
🗣️Subject: It’s Now or Never
Sub Topic: Don’t Pass Me By
We must maximize the moments that God gives us. Opportunities do not last forever. Blind Bartimaeus recognized that Jesus was passing by, and he refused to let his moment slip away. When Jesus passes by, it’s now or never.
✨Key Points:
🔸Bartimaeus’ Condition
🔸Bartimaeus’ Cry
🔸Bartimaeus’ Call
🔸Bartimaeus’ Conversion
🔸Bartimaeus’ Redemption
Blind Bartimaeus recognized that Jesus was passing by and understood that he could not afford to miss his moment. Though physically blind and forced to beg, his condition mirrors the spiritual darkness and dependence experienced by those who are disconnected from Christ. Yet, faith was born when he heard about Jesus.
Despite opposition, Bartimaeus cried out for mercy with persistence and sincerity. His faith refused to be silenced, and his desperate cry caused Jesus to stop and call for him. Because he refused to give up, he received not only his sight, but also a transformed life.
Bartimaeus did not leave Jesus the same way he came. His encounter with Christ brought conversion, restoration, and redemption. His story reminds us that when God presents an opportunity for change, healing, and salvation, we must seize the moment. Jesus is still passing by, and now is the time to call on Him.
Don’t allow fear, pride, or the opinions of others to cause you to miss your divine opportunity. It’s now or never—don’t let Jesus pass you by.
