We are so excited to have several of our Washington Parish Youth Coalition students representing at the National CADCA Mid-Year Convention in Orlando, Florida this week.

They will be learning valuable leadership skills and prevention strategies to take back to our Parish to share with their peers.

Washington Parish Youth Coalition and youth from Brilliant Mindz Summer camp were proud to attend Substance Misuse, Mental Health, and Su***de Prevention Day at the Louisiana State Capitol!

Our youth had the opportunity to join prevention leaders, advocates, and organizations from across Louisiana to learn more about the importance of prevention, mental wellness, and creating healthier communities.

Experiences like these empower our students to become leaders who will bring positive change back to Washington Parish. We are incredibly proud of these young advocates for representing our community and for their commitment to making a difference.

Together, we can continue building a future where prevention, hope, and mental wellness are priorities for everyone.
