3. Something for hygiene- toothbrush, soap, wash cloth, hairbrush
4. Something to play with- jump rope, puzzles, hot wheels

The shoeboxes are packed for girls and boys:

Include a note and picture of you or your family for each box. Pray over the boxes! If you can’t donate, please pray that these boxes reach the children that need them most. Thanks you!
Hudsons in Picayune and Dirt cheap are great places to buy for OCC. Stocking stuffers are also great for shoeboxes. Dollar General will put Seasonal stuff on sale for up to 90% off. Dollar Tree has variety pack for a dollar that can be opened and placed in several boxes.
1. Plastic cups, bowls, forks, and spoons
2. Toothpaste, toothbrushes, wash cloth, bar soap, great for hygiene
3. Party supplies for gift bags – balloons, rings, super balls
4. School supplies – pencils, notebooks, crayons, markers
5. Any small toys, hot wheels, barbies, coloring books.
6. Hard candy, jolly ranchers, lifesavers, sweetarts,
7. Handmade items are wonderful. hats, scarfs, dolls, stuffed animals
Zip lock bags are needed. I like to give variety in the bags. I will open candy , hair bands/clips and mix them up in bags. Tooth brushes and toothpaste are put on these bags. Also I put soap and was cloths in the bags.
Trust yourself. Just follow the DONT rules and anything else is great. We learn more each year about new items to pack. If you are totally lost take a child with you and they will fill the box in no time. Most of all have fun. God will find the right child for your box.
