Monday Moments with the Sunday Sermon

Jesus may not always begin where we want Him to begin, but He always begins where we need Him most.

So where do you need to bring your heart honestly before Him?

Is there sin you have been covering?
Guilt you have been carrying?
A circumstance you want changed?
A person you need to carry to Jesus in prayer?

This week, take one step: bring your deepest need to Jesus, confess what needs to come into the light, and trust the One who has authority to forgive.

From the Bible Reading Plan for June 15: Leviticus 27

What promises have we made to God that we have not kept? Do we treat our commitments to Him casually or seriously? Leviticus 27 reminds us that vows and promises made to God must be taken seriously. Our devotion should be sincere and faithful to the Lord.

From the Bible Reading Plan for June 14: Leviticus 26

Leviticus 26 reminds us that obedience matters and sin has consequences. God promised to bless His people if they obeyed, but He also warned them that disobedience would bring discipline. If His people humbled themselves and confessed their sin, God would remember His covenant. God is faithful even when His people are unfaithful.

Join Us Tomorrow

We are continuing our summer sermon series, "The Miracles of Jesus," with a message from Mark 2 called: "Who Can Forgive"

A paralyzed man was carried to Jesus by four friends. Everyone could see his need for healing, but Jesus looked deeper and gave him something greater: forgiveness.

This passage reminds us that Jesus sees our deepest need, meets our greatest need, and sends us out as living witnesses of His grace.

If you need encouragement to bring your need to Jesus, or to carry someone else to Him in prayer, love, and witness, I hope you will join us tomorrow.

From the Bible Reading Plan for June 13: Leviticus 25

God calls His people to trust Him enough to stop. The Sabbath year required Israel to let the land rest and trust in God’s provision. Rest reminds us that we are not in control. We do not have to work ourselves into exhaustion as if everything depends on us.

From the Bible Reading Plan for June 12: Leviticus 24

Leviticus 24 describes the continual light of the lampstand and the continual bread set before the Lord. These were daily reminders that worship was not occasional, casual, or limited to special moments. God’s people were called to continual devotion before Him.

Paul would later write in Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.”

Just as the light kept burning and the bread remained before God, our devotion to Christ should be steady and continual.

Hey everyone! I want to personally invite you to join us this Sunday.

We are continuing our summer sermon series, "The Miracles of Jesus," and we will be in Mark 2 looking at a message called "Who Can Forgive."

In this passage, four men bring a paralyzed man to Jesus. They cannot get through the crowd, so they carry him to the roof, dig through the ceiling, and lower him into the room where Jesus is teaching. Everyone can see the man's obvious need. He cannot walk.

But Jesus sees something deeper. Before He says, "Rise, take up your bed, and walk," He says, "Son, your sins are forgiven." This miracle reminds us that our greatest need is not simply easier circumstances or physical healing. Our greatest need is forgiveness, and Jesus has the authority to forgive.

I believe this will be a challenging and encouraging message, and I would love for you to join us this Sunday at 10:30 AM.

From the Bible Reading Plan for June 11: Leviticus 23

Our schedules reveal what matters most to us.

Leviticus 23 lays out Israel’s appointed feasts and holy days. God was teaching His people that worship was not occasional or accidental. Their calendar was shaped around remembering who God is and what He had done.

We need to build regular rhythms into our schedules for God: time in His Word, time in prayer, time in worship, and time in serving.

Jesus sees deeper than the problem everyone else can see.

The pain we feel.
The circumstance we want changed.
The burden we want removed.
The sin we cannot fix ourselves.

What if your greatest need is deeper than the need you first brought to Jesus?
