Memories Made… We just wanted to drop these photos into our memory album. Ten years from now, we’ll look back and remind some of these kids what they used to look like while praising the Lord for all He has done in their lives.

What a joy it is to watch them grow—not just in age, but in faith, character, friendships, and their understanding of God’s love. These moments may seem small today, but they are part of a much bigger story that God is writing in each of their lives.

Every smile, every laugh, every lesson learned, and every picture captured is evidence of God’s workmanship. We’re thankful for the opportunity to invest in the next generation and excited to see what the Lord has in store for each of them.

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” — Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)

STORM TESTED—Week 1: Correction Storms
Some storms are meant to change us.
The Book of Jonah reminds us that God loves His children too much to leave them where they are. Sometimes He uses storms to get our attention, redirect our path, reveal our hearts, and draw us back to Himself. As you read through Jonah this week, ask yourself: What might God be teaching me through the storms in my life?

DAY 1 — STORMS THAT STOP US
READ all of Jonah 1

STORM WARNING
Jonah knew what God wanted him to do, but he chose another direction. He boarded a ship headed away from Nineveh and away from God’s command.

Then the storm came. The storm wasn’t an accident. It wasn’t bad luck. It wasn’t even satan’s attack. The Lord sent it.

Sometimes God allows storms into our lives to stop us before we drift farther from Him. Like a loving parent correcting a child, God intervenes because He cares too much to let us continue down a dangerous path.

A storm may feel like an interruption, but it could actually be an invitation to return to God.

THINK ABOUT IT

1. Is there an area of your life where you’ve been resisting God’s direction?
2. Has God ever used a difficult circumstance to get your attention?
3. What might God be trying to stop in your life right now?

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE
Spend a few moments asking God to reveal any area where you’ve been running from His will.

THIS WEEK, REMEMBER…
Some storms are sent to stop us before sin takes us farther than we intended to go.

STORM TESTED | WEEK 1 l JONAH
Jonah thought he could run. Run from God's call. Run from God's plan. Run from God's purpose.
So he bought a ticket, boarded a ship, and headed in the opposite direction. But the farther he ran, the worse the storm became.
If you've ever wondered why God allows certain storms into our lives, or if you've ever found yourself running from what God is asking you to do, this message is for you.
Join us as we begin our new series: STORM TESTED

You can run from God's will... but you can never outrun God's grace.
