First Wednesday is coming up! 🎶

Sunday is the last day to sign up for our First Wednesday Meal on September 2 at 6:00 p.m. in the Family Room.

We’ll enjoy lasagna, green beans, rolls, and dessert. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Please reserve your spot on the sign-up sheet at the foyer table.

Then it’s Singing Night! We’ll enjoy singing songs we know and love together, while also learning a few new ones. Whether you join us for the meal or simply come for the singing, we’d love to have you!

Recently, a group from Boerne Church of Christ traveled to Uvalde to help with flood recovery efforts, working alongside the Churches of Christ Disaster Response Team and Getty Street Church of Christ.

The day was a great reminder of the importance of community—churches working together, neighbors helping neighbors, and people coming alongside families facing difficult circumstances.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of the effort and to help wherever we were needed.

What if the greatest thing about God’s love is that there is no “if”?

Our new sermon series, “Voices,” began this past Sunday with a reminder that God’s love isn’t based on a condition, our performance, or what we can do in return. His love is steadfast, unconditional, and always there.

📖 1 John 4:15–17
“If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus."

New Adult Class Starts Tonight!
What does it really mean to live as God’s beloved?

This fall, our Wednesday adult class will be led by Chris Palmer in studying Beloved by Francis Chan—a powerful look at God’s love and how truly believing we are His beloved children can change the way we live.

Together, we’ll explore how insecurity, striving, and restlessness can keep us from experiencing the freedom, joy, and peace God wants for us—and how His love leads us to deeper faith, obedience, and confidence.

Come join us as we learn to rest more fully in the truth that we are deeply loved by God. See you at 7pm at the building or listen in on our YouTube channel.

A salute to summer! ☀️

Our youth group wrapped up the season with Slip ’N Slide Kickball this weekend—and it was the perfect way to go out with a bang! From sliding into bases to laughing in the sunshine, the kids made the most of one last summer day together.

We’re thankful for the fun, the fellowship, and all the memories made along the way! Now on to a great school year!

✏️ Back to School Sunday is this weekend!

Join us this Sunday, August 9 as we come together to encourage and pray over students, teachers, staff, and families for the upcoming school year.
• 9:30 AM – Continental breakfast in the Family Room
• 10:30 AM – Abbreviated worship service
• After worship, we'll caravan in teams to Boerne public and private schools to pray for students, teachers, staff, and families as they prepare for the year ahead.

Be sure to pick up your group assignment from the foyer table before Sunday.
