In case anyone wonders where I stand: I want to go home to my Father and my family when I run out of time. Until the Lord calls me from this world to the next, I want to make it clear that I believe in Jesus Christ as the true Lord and Savior. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, he was sacrificed on the cross, died for our sins, and he was resurrected. He loves us all (much more than we deserve) and forgives our sins if we repent. His Word says: "He who believes in me shall not perish, but shall have eternal life."

This is the best challenge I've ever seen on Facebook, so if the Holy Ghost moves you and you're not embarrassed, just copy and make this your status update. Can I obtain an Amen by being a believer in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost?

Encounter God in Prayer...
Gain God’s Perspective

Lord, your ways are high above the ways of this world. Joined with you, I am no longer limited by the logic of this temporary age. I can see from eternity’s perspective. Thank you! From your vantage, I can pray with power, confidence, and authority. I will not lift up a beggar’s prayer today but an overcomer’s prayer.

As I see from your perspective, I am able to create and release prayers that align with your purposes, plans, and passions. From my position in Christ, seated at the right hand of God, I gain a perspective of prayer that is infused with a boldness that comes from seeing this life from your perspective. Increase my understanding of your will that I may pray it. Reveal the plans of your kingdom and the purposes behind it so that my intercession aligns with your heart. I long to know you more, God. In your perspective, I grow in confidence of your will and ways. You are wonderful, and all you do is covered with love and mercy. Powerful One, move my heart by revealing more of yours to me today.

Discover who I have created you to be.

Child of the living God, servant of the cross, seeker of my heart—arise! Warrior of love, poet of praise, teacher of my truth—arise!

Yield your heart. Sacrifice selfishness and pride, and I will give you my glory. Lay aside distractions. Take the sword and slay the giant of self-seeking. Forsake the yearning to build a name for yourself; don’t allow it to override your longing to be known by my name. I have given you a sound mind to hear and obey all that I say. Set your heart on me and prepare yourself, for the greatest days of glory are ahead. I call you to active duty, not part-time commitment.

Your Word

Thank you for your Word. By your decree everything stands at attention. Creation sits firmly in place as a testimony of your power. All that you have made gladly serves you. I treasure the revelation that streams from your Word—it is my deepest delight. Its wisdom guides me through the harshest storms.

Lord, I’m yours and I live my life to honor you. Grace me with insight—I set my heart before you. Teach me the profound revelations that others shun. I will absorb your eye-opening truth and walk in the light of your ways. Your promises are both thrilling and sweet.

Your Word is fastened to eternity. It has kept me alive. It gives me endurance when I want to give up. I’ve discovered that there is nothing perfect in this imperfect world except your truth. I rejoice in the power of your Word. It is my source of freedom.

Encounter God’s Heart...
His Portion

All that Jesus is—every victory and every provision—is ours. Paid for by his precious blood. Even during trials, his presence is our place of refuge. Right now, as we stand on earth, facing whatever joys or sorrows, the Bible says we are also seated in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6).

Heavenly life is the portion he shares with us. It’s the peace that blossoms from our history with God. It taps into grace. Builds pleasant walls of faith that may shake but will never crumble. This is our portion—Jesus. He is the undeniable reality that comforts us even when life has dealt a weighty blow. Everything we need to walk in victory is already ours. So let’s align our thinking with his promise of grace. This is our portion and our inheritance.

Father, I invite you into my daily, my mundane, and my outrageous. Be Lord of it all. May peace be my portion, wisdom be my guide, and favor pepper the atmosphere around me. In every season, be my friend, Savior, and hero. The One who never leaves and who has become my portion.

I Hear His Whisper...
I am perfecting you.

What a wonderful hope I have given to you, my beloved. My work in your heart is not yet finished, and I will never tire of giving myself to you. A special and glorious work is being done in your heart, for you are my chosen and my redeemed one. My perfect work is being accomplished in your soul. Encounter God’s Heart...
Over and Over

Over and over again, Jesus will faithfully come woo your heart until you are totally his. Your passion may not be fully awakened to his love, but if it’s your desire, he will not disappoint. Jesus knows exactly what you need and precisely how to stir your love. All you have to do is ask.

His love is irresistible when it crashes upon our hearts like unrelenting waves. With one taste of his divine passion, we are addicted. Lovesick ones become even more lovesick, and hardened hearts melt like wax when he comes on the scene. Just to think of him opens us to the sweetness of true love. Ever so graciously, God pours a continuous stream of love into the deepest caverns of our soul. Though we cannot fathom the depths of his love with our minds, we can experience them in life-changing measure.

Jesus come. Now and always, I want to encounter your love. I want to know you as well as you know me. Quench my thirsty soul with the power of your passion and draw me into the depths of your presence that I’ve yet to discover. No matter how long it takes, make me fully yours, with no barriers to restrict our love.

Encounter God in Prayer...
Communing with the Living Father

Day and night, night and day I call on you, Lord. I breathe in who you are, your very life-giving presence, as I call on your name. Jesus, you are the hope of glory alive within me. As I adore you, I am transformed into your likeness. By your grace, I find myself with access to your heart, the heart of a good Father. Just as the veil to the Holy of Holies was torn when you breathed your last breath, so also the barrier that stood between the Father and me has been removed. I see now, as I rest in your presence, that you have always been kind, merciful, and full of forgiveness.

I join my heart with yours, my spirit with your Spirit, and my longing with yours as I touch heaven through communion with you. I will not hesitate to come to you. I rush into your presence, like a child running to a beloved parent. I won’t hold back my love from you, for nothing else satisfies my soul the way your lavish love does. As I pour out my love on you, break the chains of fear that have kept me distant from you. Let nothing remain that stands in the way of connecting with you.

I Hear the Lord Saying...You Can Know Me More!

Do you hear My upward call? Today, My Spirit calls to the depths of your heart, saying, “My darling, you can know Me more.”

Your deep yearning for holiness and purity is so beautiful to Me, and it will be answered, for this longing brings us into greater and greater intimacy. It is what you are created for!

My commandments are not burdensome to you because you desire Me above all else. You yearn for our unbroken communion. This is also the yearning of My Spirit as the marriage celebration of the Lamb fast approaches—the day of My great gladness. And so, I take hold of you, even in your human frailty, to empower you.

I intercede within you, through deep and inexpressable groanings, for the time of your glorious unveiling is at hand. Yes, the time has come!

I see you as a bride preparing for our union in which you will know Me even as you are fully known. This is the desire of your heart, and it is so pleasing to Me. We share this longing, My beloved.

Encounter God’s Heart...
Word of Promise

How often have you heard that God would never fail or abandon you? Has it become a stale phrase in your mind, or does it still move you with the marvelous mercy that lies within its promise? Though the Lord was speaking directly to Joshua in this passage, these same words are invoked by the writer of Hebrews (13:5).

God promises that he will never fail. He cannot go against his merciful nature and take back a vow that he has made. He will never fail. He will never abandon us. When we look to Jesus, we can know that we are looking to the Faithful One. The Father and Son have given us their Spirit and promised that we will never be alone. No matter what we have done or what circumstances we find ourselves in, when we turn to God and look to him, we will find that he is nearer than we realized.

Faithful One, reveal yourself to me through your presence. Give me revelation to see where you are already working and give me the peace of your presence.

I call you to a higher way of life.

I call you to love. I call you to joy. I call you to peace and gentleness. I encourage you in the ways of kindness, meekness, and self-control. As you walk according to my plan, my glory floods you with the divine power to live in this higher realm of life. As you yield yourself and your actions, you find that my ways are the most fulfilling. You will discover your life has become a fruitful vine.

My glorious one, I am your God. I will bring my will to pass, as you yield your all to me. As you live a life of surrender, sacrificing your will for mine, my ways become your joy. Leave behind what hinders your soul in order to embrace the higher way of life. Cling to me and I will renew you and lead you along the journey.
