INSTRUCTIONS: For this activity, provide everyone paper, Band-Aids (you may want bigger ones) and writing tools. First draw a person, then write out the memory verse on the Band-Aids - one or 2 words per bandage. Once the verse is written, cover up the person from head to toe with the Band-Aids, putting the verse in order.

MEMORY VERSE: ISAIAH 6:8

SAY THIS: A lot of miracles we learn about involve healing—about how God helps those who are sick. Who is one person you know who might need a miracle of healing? Let's add their name to our paper. If you don't know of anyone, think of someone you want to share a story of God’s miracles with this week and write that name instead. We can share the stories of God’s miracles.

WHAT TO DO - Provide pipe cleaners for kids to make a flower arrangement for someone who might be sick. You can also encourage them to share the flowers with members of your community who are in the hospital or are in assisted living homes.

WHAT TO SAY - Tabitha was surrounded by a community of people who cared about her when she got sick. There are people in our lives who need that kind of caring community, too. We can share the stories of God's miracles to show that God cares about them, and we can show that we care about them, too!

Ask your family these questions: Have you ever been sick and someone sent you a get-well card? Maybe they also sent you a balloon, flowers, or a teddy bear. How did that make you feel?

SAY THIS: When you're not feeling well, messages like these can be good news for you! In today's story, we'll meet a woman who could use a get-well card. We'll see how God healed her and how that message of love and kindness traveled farther than anyone expected!

INSTRUCTIONS: Divide you family, making sure each group has someone who can read. You can print out passages to distribute or have kids look them up in their own Bibles. After they've read about it, have each group share what happened in that miracle story through retelling or a short skit.

SUGGESTED MIRACLES -
1. Jesus cured Peter's mother-in-law of a fever (Mark 1:30-31).
2. Jesus cured the nobleman's son (John 4:46-47).
3. The great haul of fishes (Luke 5:1-11).

INSTRUCTIONS: For this activity, give everyone a handful of greeting cards (used cards will work). Everyone has one minute to build a tower with the cards - whoever has the tallest tower, wins.

SAY THIS: Greeting cards are one way to send a message. You can use them for a birthday, a holiday, to say thank you, or to wish for someone to get better when they are not feeling well. In this week's Bible lesson, we heard about someone whose kindness and care for others built a powerful message—one that kept growing and spreading. Peter was part of delivering God’s healing power to a woman named Tabitha, and that miracle became a message worth sharing!
