Happy Labor Day!

A PRAYER FOR LABOR DAY

Lord, on this Labor Day, we thank You for the blessing of work.
We ask for strength to complete each day.
We ask for rest when we are weary.
We ask Your guidance for everyone seeking employment,
and we ask that You be with those whose faces we might never see but who work tirelessly each day for the good of us all.
Amen.

In observance of Labor Day, there will be one Mass at 9:00am today. St. Joan of Arc Campus will close after the Mass.

Bishop Manuel de Jesús Rodríguez is in Rome this week participating in the 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐀𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝, organized by the 𝐃𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐬 (𝐃𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐩𝐫𝐨 𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐬).

This year’s formation course has as its theme: “𝐈𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭, 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 ‘𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐬’ 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.”

The gathering brings together newly appointed bishops from across the world for a time of formation, fraternity, prayer, and reflection on the mission of the episcopate in today’s rapidly changing world.

During his time in Rome, Bishop Manuel will also have the opportunity to meet with 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐨 𝐗𝐈𝐕, a special moment of communion with the Holy Father.

Please join the faithful of the Diocese of Palm Beach in praying for Bishop Manuel and all the new bishops gathered in Rome, that the Lord may strengthen them in their ministry and guide them as shepherds of His people.
