From the looks of last night’s Fish Fry at St. Joan’s, Dan would sing a little louder at AIM retreats if we added some Sinatra into the mix.

It was a beautiful day for spiritual renewal. A big thank you to the seminarians from St. Vincent de Paul for their inspiring talks, their singing and their presence. Their lesson for the day was a simple one that can have a profound impact on your life: Pray to Mary. Ask her to intercede for you with the Father. She is your mother, too, and loves you as much as she loves Jesus. Pray the rosary and find comfort and peace in embracing her love for you. She wants to bring you to Jesus. Let her help you.

We were so blessed to have Deacon Dick be a part of AIM and for the celebration we shared this year of his 40 years of ministry serving the Lord.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and may your perpetual light shine upon him.
Our sympathies to Colleen and to the Venezia family. May the Lord comfort you in your mourning and may the peace of Christ remain with you forever.

What a wonderful, moving retreat we had this weekend. AIM was blessed to have Father Kevin help us connect with our faith through his insightful talks—and to have Denise and Michael lead us through all the special activities. Here Elena hears her special Bible verse, given to her by the Spirit. We learned a lot about how to love from St. Therese of Lisieux and the writings she left us. If you weren’t able to be there, we missed seeing you. Maybe next year!
