Follow The Cross and Share Your Story The Bloodwood Cross It has hung next to my bed where every morning, it's one of the first things I see to welcome the new day. It has been a blessing in my life.

A few years ago, while struggling through some difficult times, someone sent me a cross - a beautiful cross constructed of two kinds of wood. The man who sent it to me made one request - that I share it with others. How I shared it, he left up to me. The cross is made of two kinds of wood - one being bloodwood. The bloodwood is a constant reminder of the blood Jesus shed for us. Bloodwood changes

through the years from a lighter, orangey color to a deeper, darker red. It only gets better and more beautiful with time. The beauty of this wood and its color progression is another reminder of how time gets better and better with our Savior in our lives. Awesome, isn't it? For years, I have wanted to send this cross around the world and chronicle the stories that accompany it and now . . . I am. With God's blessings, we will set it on its journey and one day will celebrate when it makes its way back to its origins. Please hold it close to your heart, share it with others, protect it, and let us know where it is, where you are, and post your story and photos. Blessings!
