🚗🥫 Five carloads of food were delivered to Englewood Helping Hand this week thanks to the generosity and helping hands of our St. Andrew’s family!

Our congregation continues to show incredible generosity, not only through donations, but through hands-on service and care for our neighbors in need. The Red Bag Mission has been a tremendous success this season, and we look forward to continuing this important outreach with five more food drives planned for the 2026–2027 season.

This Sunday is the final Red Bag Ministry collection of the season benefiting Helping Hand Food Bank. As many of our parishioners prepare to head north for the summer, we invite you to donate non-perishable food items from your pantry to assist those in need within our community.

Helping Hand is especially in need of pasta, tomato products, spaghetti sauce, canned meats, condiments, and ramen noodles. Please check expiration dates on all donated items.

Volunteers are also needed to help pack and deliver donations on Tuesday, May 19.

Thank you for your continued generosity and support of this important outreach ministry.

As he arrives, we send Geoffrey off with thanks as he heads north—he’ll be back for visits over the summer and return in the fall.
