We had a great trip to the Birthplace of Elvis in Tupelo Mississippi! 27 braved the longer than usual trip. We had Elvis music blasting all the way there and back. We got back home at 7:15 pm. We had a great lunch at Sweet Peppers Deli and many tasted Elvis' favorite fried Banana, Peanut Butter, Honey and Bacon Sandwich. We worshiped in Elvis' old church and sang some of Elvis' famous gospel recordings (Peace in the Valley and How Great Thou Art) in the Chapel he designed on the grounds. It was a great time of fellowship!

We had a wonderful time worshipping under our pavilion today! And we had a wonderful lunch cooked by our Trail Life Boys and AHG girls. Thank you to all who helped set up, take down, spoke, sang, and make sides and desserts! We are truly best with the best church family!

We are set up under our Pavilion for our dedication & Christian Homemaking service this Sunday.

9:00am - former youth minister, Clay Minor
10:00am - former pastor, David Cofield
11:00am - former pastor, Barry Jimmerson & Jeff Walker leading worship

Church picnic following the 11:00am session.

If it rains, we will move everything to the family life center.

Great awards program last night! Congratulations to all those who worked hard and achieved so many badges and awards! A special thank you to Pastor David and Courtney for all their hard work leading our troops and to the whole Trail Life, AHG and Cubbie Bears leadership team. You all did an awesome job this past year! Looking forward to a great 2026-2027 season!
