We Believe:

Beginning this Sunday, please note the changes in the worship schedule for the summer.
This Wednesday, June 3rd, will be the first of the 6:30 Casual Services.
This Sunday, June 7th, we will worship at Boardman Park at 11:00am, followed by our annual Church Picnic.
And on June 14th, we will begin our summer One Blended Services at 10am.
The Sunday Blended and Wednesday Casual Service will last through August.

Each time you encounter Scripture, try to ask yourself:
 What word or phrase caught my attention?
 How does this word or phrase connect to my life?
 When I think about growing and maturing, what is God’s desire for

Where am I right now?
What is one small step I can plan that will
help me get to where I want to be?
 What is God asking me to remember, pray about, or do today or this
week?
On Saturdays, prepare for the upcoming Sabbath:
 What sins will I confess?
 What prayers will I lift up?

NALC Disaster Warehouse Volunteers April25-26th
NALC Disaster Warehouse Volunteers April 25-26th ldwell and joined twenty-one volunteers from the NEO Mission district for the annual "Work Day at the Warehouse.” Several volunteers spent the day putting up walls for a shed on the property, the rest of the volunteers packaged 175 school kits 70 personal care kits, and filled the big truck headed to Wisconsin. Three of our volunteers stayed overnight on Saturday to continue with the shed build and help Mary organize and clean up the warehouse before heading home. Thank you to everyone who made the trip, and made it an enjoyable time serving together.

Description: Luther designed this seal while teaching at Wittenberg; wanting it to summarize his faith. It did just that as he explains: The first thing expressed in my seal is a cross, black, within the red heart; to put me in mind that faith in Christ crucified saves us. This heart is fixed on the center of a white rose, to show that faith causes joy, comfort and peace. This rose is fixed in a sky-colored background, to show that such joy in the spirit is but a promise and beginning of heavenly joy to come. Around this is a ring of gold to show that precious gift of heaven is endless and more precious than all other joys and treasures.
