Transfiguration Youth Ministry

The youth ministry program is something our parish is invested in because we recognize the needs of our youth to grow in their faith, while also drawing into community with their peers. This ministry exists because we want young people to feel compelled to discipleship with Jesus Christ. In our world today, perhaps more than ever, there is a need for a safe environment where youth can come togethe

r and ask questions about God and the world around them. A place where their entire potential will be fostered and encouraged! The Youth Ministry program here at Transfiguration seeks to bring the Faith to teenagers in a way that not only engages them but also helps them to see the Faith as something beneficial to their lives as they become young adults. Young people need to know that they are loved and that God has a purpose for each of them in this world. They are hungry for the truth that our rich Catholic Faith offers them. This is why we use Lifeteen – an international program that offers a weekly curriculum for youth meetings, resources, retreats, mission trips, and countless other opportunities to teens in our community. Transfiguration knows that through this ministry we can reach the hearts of so many teenagers in our parish who are longing for God. We hope to form them into young adults of faith who have a firm understanding of their identity in Christ Jesus.
