Village Church SC

Village Church SC Village Church SC. Led by Erik Estep VillageChurch is a church where real community can take place. How can we achieve that goal?

It's our goal for the services to be an exciting time you will look forward to every week. We want the services to be an experience you will desire to share with others. By having music that won't put you to sleep. By having messages that deal with how to live in this world with God's help. And also by providing opportunities for people to develop real relationships in small group settings. We see

k to minister to our community by going where the people are instead of waiting for them to come to us. We accomplish this by developing relationships with our community through service and love. We look forward to seeing you each Sunday at 9:00 am and 10:30 am and at our weekly VGroup meetings.

Who do you say Jesus is? In Mark 6, Jesus returns to his hometown where people knew him, saw his miracles, and heard his powerful teaching. Yet they still misidentified him. They saw the carpenter's son instead of the Son of God.

The tragedy? Their unbelief limited what Jesus did among them. The centurion in Matthew 8 amazed Jesus with his faith, but the people of Nazareth amazed him with their unbelief. Which will we be?

Knowing about Jesus isn't enough. Even seeing his work isn't enough. We must correctly identify him as Messiah, Savior, and Lord. As Peter declared: "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God." Don't miss out on God's power moving in your life because of misidentification. Jesus is waiting for your faith, not just your familiarity.

In Mark 5:1-20, Jesus encounters a demon-possessed man living in a graveyard—bound by chains, cutting himself, completely enslaved by darkness. But when Jesus shows up, everything changes. He doesn't offer band-aids or comfort. He confronts the darkness, commands it to leave, and completely reconstructs this man's life.

The townspeople found him "sitting there, dressed and in his right mind." That's what Jesus does—He brings true deliverance. He confronts our sin with truth, commands the darkness to flee with His authority, and builds us into who we're created to be.

Where do you need Jesus to bring deliverance in your life today? He has the power to transform everything.
