Sharing the life and legacy of Jose Jorge Lopez Aguilar. A few new pictures we have never shared before. He was always filled with joy and love. Memories we cherish and hope that we hold onto knowing Jorge is with Christ.
A lasting legacy of a young man who was abandoned at age 2, came to Casa de Niños at age 7, baptized at age 10 and lived an amazing life of love and joy until he was called home on February 23, 2001. He loved his church deeply, cared for his family with passion, sang with such sincerity, played hard, was an example to so many children who looked up to him as a big brother and he said many times, GOD is # 1 in my life. He forgave those who abandoned and hurt him, loved those who called him, son, brother and friend He was just an extraordinary young man, a true man of God to those who knew him. A song he sang at church a few weeks before his passing was: Thank You by Ray Boltz. “Thank you for giving me to the Lord, I am a life that was saved…”
The life and legacy of Jorge lives in many of us and it is my prayer if you knew him he left a lasting legacy of love for Christ in you.
