I want to let you know about our upcoming confirmation classes for students. "Confirmation" is the rite in which we express a mature commitment to Christ and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a Bishop. Youth Confirmation classes (8 weeks) begin Sunday, August 26 during the 9am worship service from, 9:00 - 10:00 at the Cross Schools campus.The classes will be led by Tim Edwards (yours truly!) The class will be informal and interactive and will meet every Sunday, concluding October 14. Bishop Mark Lawrence will confirm students (who attended all classes) at the service on Wednesday, October 17 at the Historic Campus.

Please talk to your child to discern if he or she feels ready to take this big step of affirming their confession of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
