Good afternoon everyone! We have been given great news by the Diocese of Toledo. We most likely will have Mass in person on May 29th - 30th with social distancing.
Father John would really like to have our new First Communion date on June 14th at Noon.
If this date does not work, the other date is June 21st (also at Noon), but Father John would really prefer the 14th. Please respond back to let me know if these dates work for you and you daughter / son.

Good afternoon second grade parents! Today is/was the day the virtual retreat should have been done by. I would like to extend the date to Saturday, May 16th to accommodate those who have not begun or those who are almost done.
Because I tried to cram a 6 hour retreat into this Facebook forum, I have posts from three different dates. I wanted to go over who has completed each step:

Good afternoon everyone. Congratulations to Peyton for completing the First Communion Retreat! I hope you have learned a lot and are ready for your First Communion.
I would like everyone to complete this by Monday, May 4th (when the Rice Bowls are also due). If you are not able to get this completed in a week, please e-mail or PM me.

In the retreat, I mentioned that every morning we pray before we start our school lesson. This might be a good one to pray with your child.

Father in Heaven
When the Spirit came down upon Jesus at his Baptism in the Jordan, you revealed him as Your own Beloved Son.
Keep me, Your child, born of water and the spirit, faithful to my calling.
May I, who share in Your Life as Your child through Baptism and the Eucharist, follow in Christ’s path of service to people.
Let me become one in His Sacrifice and hear His Word with faith.
May I live as Your child, following the example of Jesus.

Bible bread: Part 3
Something COVID-19 has forced us to do, is to slow down, spend more time as a family and spend more time on God. I have added prayer time in the morning everyday before we start school. We pray, we read the Bible or do the rosary together as a family.
Sister Carol and I came up with these questions last year. Maybe you and your child can answer this before COVID-19 and now. I would imagine the answers are different.

How much time a week do you spend:

Bible Bread- part 1.
A couple of weeks ago I gave you the ingredients. Now I want you and your child to make the Bible Bread. Look up the verses in the Bible. While looking for the verses, talk about how the Bible stories help us follow Jesus.
