May 31, is Trinity Sunday. We welcome you in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We have entered the Pentecost Season and hope to see you Sunday.

We will worship upstairs in the Fellowship Hall.

Call to Worship:
Jesus said “Remember I am with you always to the end of the age.”
In the beginning God. . .
created mortals and asked us to care for all creation.
In the fullness of time, God sent Jesus . . .
Jesus showed us how to love as God loves
In our time, and throughout eternity . . .
Jesus commands us to lead others to follow in the name of the
Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen

Pentecost Sunday

CALL TO WORSHIP
On the day of Pentecost, the wind of heaven rushed in,
And tongues of fire rested on each one.
The Spirit gave them words to speak,
And hearts to understand across every language and nation.
Today, that same Spirit calls us to worship,
To lift our voices in praise, to open our lives to God’s renewing power.

SCRIPTURE: Acts 2:1-13

Sunday, May 10
CALL TO WORSHIP
Today, let us give thanks to God for the gift of mothers and the
mother-like nurture that many people show to others in their lives.
Isaiah wrote that God would never forget us.
God knows each of us, like a mother knows her own children.
Loving Lord, thank you for your tender care.
Jesus spoke of longing to wrap his arms around us,
like a mother hen gathers her chicks under her wings:
Loving Lord, thank you for your tender care.
As children of God let us worship the one who loves us.

*SCRIPTURE 2 Kings 4:1-17 NRSV

SERMON “Happy Mother’s Day”

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY.......
To those who were -
we remember and
to those who are and those who nurture -
we are blessed and
we give thanks!

Sunday, May 3

Join with us for worship on this 5th of Sunday of Easter!

Call to Worship:

Come, beloved of God, with hearts that may be troubled, with
questions that seek answers.

We come to the One who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

When the path ahead feels uncertain, when the road seems
hidden from our eyes—

We trust in the One who goes before us to prepare a place.

Here, in this place, Christ meets us with open arms, showing
us the Father’s heart.

Let us worship the One who is our dwelling place forever.

Sermon: Create In Me A Clean Heart

In the Wesleyan tradition, repentance is never about shame for shame’s sake. It is about grace. John Wesley taught that God’s grace goes before us, awakens us, forgives us, and continues shaping us into Christ’s likeness. Ash Wednesday invites us into that transforming journey.

When ashes are placed upon our foreheads in the sign of the cross, mortality and mercy meet. We confess our sin, not alone, but within the community of faith, trusting that God’s mercy endures forever. The One who formed us from dust is the One who redeems us through love.

Lent is not about earning God’s favor. It is about responding to grace already given through self-examination and repentance, by prayer, fasting, and self-denial, and by reading and meditating on God’s Holy Word.

This is how we make a new beginning. Not through self-reliance, but through surrender.

As we begin these forty days, may we remember:
We are mortal.
We are forgiven.
We are being made new.
