MODEL "SOUL WINNING" PLAN

I came across what is considered to be an ideal model for overly ambitious empty believists who want to grow their churches. Here how it works . . .
Go knock on doors until you have 15 people allow you to "present the plan of salvation" to them.
On average, 7 of those people will make a profession after hearing your presentation.
5 of those who make a profession will promise to come to church.
2 will actually come to church.
1 will get baptized.
Do this weekly and you will add over 50 people to your church every year.
As you can see, there are a number of MAJOR problems with the plan. Unless, of course, you happen to be an empty believist, in which case you're blind as a bat and can't see anything. Please note . . .
1. Nothing is said about the HOLY SPIRIT doing anything, just a high pressure religious blabbermouth coercing people into making a "profession."
2. Salvation is "presented" as a "plan," which usually means a robotic sales pitch.
3. It isn't mentioned that some of the 15 people only allow the "soul winner" to present his plan just so he'll then LEAVE. Having ZERO Holy Spirit discernment, the religious clown never even thinks of this.
4. It isn't mentioned that the 7 who make a profession might be doing so just to get the clown off their door steps.
5. It doesn't matter that 3 of the 5 LIED about coming to church immediately after supposedly getting saved!
6. It doesn't matter that only 2 out of 7 new believers were even willing to attend church services. That's only 28%.
7. It doesn't matter that only 1 of 7 new believers followed the Lord in baptism. That's only a 14% "success" rate.
8. Nothing is said about how many of the 50 that get baptized in a year will actually keep attending and bear spiritual fruit. Once a person is baptized, the mission is complete, the tally grows, and it's time to work on the next 15. Numbers, numbers, and more numbers! It's not about "soul winning" at all. They CALL it that (Isa. 5:20) in order to APPEAR godly and justify the whole mess, but there's nothing godly about it. If you doubt me, just read Matthew 23:15.
Fundamental "soul winning" is one of the biggest scams of our time. It has sent far more people to hell than to heaven, and I have no respect for a preacher who doesn't oppose it passionately.
As you might expect, I've lost some friends over this. I've even had people suggest that engaging in the above foolishness is "better than doing nothing." No, actually, is isn't, and if you can't see that, then you need to flee to your prayer closet and stay there until you do see it. Besides, no one is suggesting that we "do nothing." But damning ten people to hell just so you might possibly win one is not the Father's business, and if you think it is, then you're in the wrong line of work. You might consider politics or "journalism" instead.
