The heart behind Built4purpose

Hello all you amazing followers of Christ. I don’t know if I have ever explained my story, my business or about myself and wanted to take the time to do so. (This is a LONG post)

For those who don’t know me, my name is Shaunna Nash. I have a full time job and work for the state of Illinois.

I was married for 21 years and have 4 AMAZING children. In 2024, I was lost. My marriage wasn’t what it should be. I lost myself. I believed the person who was supposed to protect me the most that convinced me I wasn’t good enough, pretty enough or worthy enough! I hated myself, the person I had become and the message I was sending to my young children.

Their father moved out in November of 2024. I was mentally, financially, spiritually and physically broken! I turned to alcohol to try to drink my sorrows away.

In 2025, I worked on a project with an amazing woman who told me about a church that she thought I should check out. I found Remnant Church! I loved it. I cried through the entire service the 1st time I went. I knew I had found my home, my people, my family!!

In April of 2026, my divorce was finalized and in summer of 2026 I was baptized in the river by the men who helped me find my way back home.

I still struggled financially due to bad choices I made in a marriage AND receiving no financial help from a person who SHOULD provide for his 4 children. So I prayed…and I prayed! I asked for guidance. I talked to God about how to provide for a broken family. HE ANSWERED!

I opened Built 4 Purpose. This business provides followers of Christ the ability to show how much they love Jesus Christ through their clothes. I also provide clothes for communities to show their school spirit!

While I still struggle financially (kids are expensive) I know God has me.

So, if you can take time to follow me, look through what is posted on my page and most importantly, pray for my success, I would greatly appreciate it.
