~~~Blue Moon Youth Center Expanding~~~

In 2018, God opened the door for something special. Through His provision and the generosity of countless volunteers, the old Blue Moon building was transformed into the Blue Moon Youth Center.
Today, the Blue Moon has become exactly what we prayed it would be—a place that brings people together and points them toward Christ. It operates as a ministry of Blue Mound Bible Church and is managed entirely by volunteers. Through faithful donations and community support, the Blue Moon covers its operating expenses as well as the costs of our weekly youth ministry. We have also been blessed by memorial gifts given in honor of community members, allowing this ministry to continue serving future generations.
Now God has opened another incredible opportunity.
Following the passing of longtime community member Rich Henderson, his family approached us about purchasing the building next to the Blue Moon. Through God’s provision, Blue Mound Bible Church purchased the property. Soon afterward, an anonymous donor made it possible for us to purchase a complete bowling alley.
Our dream is to expand the Blue Moon by creating the Blue Moon Youth Center & Bowling Alley—a place where families can gather, youth can build friendships, and our community can enjoy wholesome recreation together.
After purchasing the building, we discovered extensive termite damage to the roof support system. After careful evaluation, we learned that the structure is no longer safe and cannot be renovated.
After much prayer and discussion, the committee has decided to move forward by removing the unsafe structure and constructing a new building in its place. The new facility will be approximately 37’ × 100’, providing the space needed for the bowling alley and future community ministry.
