Classical Guitarists Hailey Minter and Ashton Meetze present “The World on Six Strings” at the next free concert at St. Mary of the Hills at 3pm, Sept 20 in the church. Minter and Meetze are performance majors in the guitar studio at AppState; they'll play music from Bach and Mozart to Rodrigo and Lauro in a charming way to cap off your weekend. Everyone is welcome!

Our sister parish, St. Luke's in Boone, hosts a free recital by brilliant young baritone Grayson Milholin on Sunday, Sept. 27 @ 3 pm, with a reception afterwards. NOTE: this concert will be at ST. LUKE'S.

Accompanied by acclaimed pianist Bair Shagdaron, Milholin will preview his 2026-27 European and North American audition tour with an afternoon of English art songs by Finzi and Vaughan Williams.

Come support this young man as he begins his professional career. St. Luke's is in Boone, behind Earth Fare.
