Yesterday some of our teens went out visiting and it was HOT 🥵 I think they would have stayed out there longer though if we had more church invitations!
We made a trip to quantum leap afterwards cause we hadn’t sweated enough by that point 😂 Even brother Eric was out there trying to do flips and tricks!

This past week we’ve been hard at it decorating for VBS and our teens plus a few others jumped in to help this past Wednesday night. We appreciate the hard work guys!

LOTS of pictures and videos lol

Our first trip to Ridgecrest was absolutely fantastic! We only had 7 from our youth go due to the flu and spring break. But that didn’t stop us from having a great time!
We met up with some friends of ours from Gray Station Baptist and their youth who we hung out with a big portion of the trip. Can’t wait to hangout again with you guys again!

Most importantly we dug into God’s word and we worshipped our Lord and Savior Jesus! The theme for the weekend was “Be Still”… surrendering to God with no distractions. And that’s just what we did this weekend. The teens are already asking about going back next year and all of them mentioned how they learned and grew in their relationships with each other and Jesus!

This weekend!

We’ll be leaving Friday for a weekend of good preaching and worship, and of course we’ll have some kind of crazy fun 🥴😂

We’ll miss the ones that’ll be gone for spring break but looking forward to the trip and worshipping with the ones who can!

We will not be having Sunday school for the teens this Sunday as we will not be back until about 2:30pm!

One of our boys, Caleb, is autistic…
He can be a handful at times and he LOVES to talk lol.

But the biggest thing to know about Caleb is he’s an absolute sweetheart!
And these teens do a great job watching out for him!

Last week one of our leaders brought an “action Bible” (If you’ve never seen it, look it up! It’s a comic book style Bible!)
Well Caleb absolutely fell in love with it. So one of our other boys started doing some research and saved up to buy him one!
We asked Caleb to pray for us to end this past Wednesday while the other boy snuck the Bible up to him. Caleb was so excited! That’s all he talked about the rest of the night!

These teens can do a lot to stress us out and may drive us crazy at times 😂
But moments like this are worth it all! The hearts these teens have for God and each other never ceases to amaze me!
