We had a great turn out tonight for work night! My thanks to everyone who was able to come and help! We got a lot accomplished!

Saturday we will be concentrating on the Sanctuary and foyer and we have a little left to do in the coffee lounge. We will need as many folks as possible to help out!

We still need to borrow the following items if anyone has them:

-2 square bales of hay
-1 rocking chair
-Artificial plants and flowers
-Any farm related items

We will use these for decorating only. Please list items you can let us borrow in the comments! We will need them brought to the church Saturday.

Calling all Mt. Pleasant folks!

Work night tonight at 5:30! We need some guys to come to help move things and set up tables in the gym! So far, the ladies have been showing up and showing out! Now we need some muscle! 💪

We will take a break Thursday and Friday then will start again Saturday!

Outside work day starts at 9 am.
VBS work day starts at 10:30 am.

VBS Parents:

Be sure to send money with your kiddos every night for our Marbles for Missions! Kids will “buy” marbles for a quarter each and we will weigh them at the end of each night in a friendly competition between the boys and the girls. All proceeds will benefit Second Hand Treasures thrift store in Oneonta, which helps children in foster care.

VBS shirts are done! I’m picking them up this afternoon and we will sort them tonight. Church members can pick theirs up tomorrow night or Saturday. Kids who got the free shirts will get theirs Sunday night at check in.

Mt. Pleasant folks: Please bring any plastic shopping bags you have as we will need them when sorting the shirts.

Reminder: VBS work night tonight at 5:30! Teachers need to decorate your classrooms and we will start on the Sanctuary and FLC. We need as many people as possible to help! Even if you aren’t a teacher or helping next week, you can still come to help us decorate! There is much to accomplish before Sunday!

Be sure to bring your spare change in the morning for our last Change It Up For VBS coin drive! June 7th will be the last time the kids “shake you down” for that last penny in your pocket before VBS starts next Sunday! 😜 Y’all have been so generous and I appreciate your support of our kiddos and of VBS! We had a great turn out for work night tonight! It was good to see some new faces! 🥰 Thanks for coming to help out!

Our next work night is Sunday, June 7th at 5:00 pm. We will start on the classrooms and the Sanctuary. We will also be finishing up some of the projects we started tonight.

We will also work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 5:30 pm. If you can’t get there at 5:30, come when you can!

Our FINAL work day will be Saturday, June 13th starting at 10:30 am. How long we work will depend on what we get done during the week and how many people come to help.
