Join us for a simple Good Friday Tenebrae Service - 4/3 7pm @ 615 N Fairview St.

A Tenebrae (Latin for shadows or darkness) service is a solemn Good Friday service that commemorates the passion and death of Jesus. It is characterized by the gradual extinguishing of candles, culminating in near-total darkness.

Hi Sacred Heart friends,

As I’m sure most of you are aware, we will no longer be located at 615 Fairview St. starting 4/12. Our final Sunday in our current space will be Easter Sunday (4/5). We have been fortunate that both University Baptist Church (UBC) and First Presbyterian Church (FPC) have offered us the use of their buildings on Sunday evenings. We will have two trial runs at each location and will then decide which space is the best fit (see below).

Location Schedule:

- Palm Sunday (3/29) - Current Location (615 N Fairview St) 10:30am
- Good Friday (4/3) - Current Location 7:00pm
- Easter Sunday (4/5) - Current Location 9:45am Potluck Brunch, 10:30 worship

- Sunday 4/12 - UBC (3740 E 3rd St) 5:00pm
- Sunday 4/19 - UBC (3740 E 3rd St) 5:00pm
- Sunday 4/26 - FPC (221 E 6th St) 5:00pm
- Sunday 5/3 - FPC (221 E 6th St) 5:00pm*

*(We plan on having a congregational meeting following the 5/3 service to decide on our new location. We may need to adjust the time of the service to accommodate the congregational meeting. Details to come)

We will also be sending out an email soon with dates for work days at our current location to get all of our stuff moved out. And if we can make it work we will have a “good party” for our current space. Stay tuned!
