As October came to a close we celebrated Halloween, All Saints Day, gathered together for a mini retreat, painted pumpkins, sat by the fire and made plenty of memories!

PowerPoint Night is this Saturday March from 7-9pm in the Jubilee Room! Sign up in the link posted in our story highlights. Any Jubileer is welcome to join in with a silly or semi-serious 5-7-minute presentation. Whether you give a book report on Ali Hazelwood’s latest, an assessment of your brother, or a rundown of where you want to move (all topics from the last PPT Night!), the night is always a huge swath of fun!

*L.O.R. Info Session* - Happening TONIGHT! Here’s a quote about what the Retreat is all about: “Get ready for a week of service, education, and spiritual growth here in Bloomington during IU’s spring break (March 16-21, 2025)! We’ll stay together in a rental house, volunteer at a variety of places, hear from speakers about faith & Bloomington, and take trips to faith sites. We’ll build long-term relationships with those in our community while still bonding with each other like we would on a road trip. It’s Sunday midday (March 16) through Friday morning (March 21), so you’ll have the weekend on both ends to do what you like. And it’s all FREE!”

*JubiBuddy Pairing!* - “fill out the JubiBuddy form [link in bio!] and we’ll help you find someone to have coffee with & get to know a bit. We can’t promise state-of-the-art algorithms to perfectly match you with a buddy, but there are lots of good people involved here, so check it out!”

*Basketball Game!* - “If you’re a student, get a free general admission ticket, and if you’re faculty/staff, get two! Otherwise, let us know if you need a ticket, and we’ll get you one. You can meet in the church parking lot at 11 am, to carpool, or meet us at the game. Most parking is free for women’s games!”

*Trivia Night!* Bring a team or join up with others when you arrive, and compete to see…[what fun, sometimes useless facts you know!] No one knows all the answers & guessing’s fun, so don’t feel dumb! It’s always a blast, no matter what!

JUBI-SPORTS FANS! 💕 🏈 The annual Jubilee Super Galentine’s Bowl Mash-Up Party is almost here! Watch the Super Bowl - or not! Color fun pages - or not! Eat snacks - or eat more snacks! (We’d love for you to bring a favorite snack!) Paint your nails, play card games, play Super-Bowl guessing contest bingo, perhaps color something, perhaps stare into space - we’ll be in the Great Hall across from the Jubilee Room, so there’ll be plenty of space to do this party your way! (We’ll also have some youths joining us - interact with or not!)

UPDATE: Jubilee will be going Wheeler Mission to clean out a flooded space instead of going to My Sister’s Closet to sort clothes. RSVP Link in Bio! *This is contrary to the email and what was announced on Wednesday* If this doesn’t interest you, the church is also offering opportunities to write cards to shut-ins, write letters to elected officials, make blessing bags, or sort & organize donations for our winter shelter and/or our refugee families.

WELCOME BACK, JUBI-FAMILY! Tonight, we’re starting a new series called, “Lifting Each Other Up,” with our very own Markus Dickinson speaking about the Funky Math of Love. Join us for some good conversation over some yummy Tex Mex Casserole. Gluten and dairy free options are available, as well as tostada chips, salsa, lettuce and dressing. See you at 7:30 tonight at FUMCB in the Jubilee Room!
