Meet Abraham Woodward! Abe is our Food Service Manager here at Wheeler Mission - Bloomington. We're beyond grateful to have Abe on the team. He leads all things related to meals here at the shelter from coordinating menu plans and donations...to training and working alongside our volunteers...to ensuring we keep a safe environment and more. He's led the charge for us moving into our newly renovated kitchen and cafeteria. Most importantly, though, he has a true servant's heart and does everything he can to ensure our guests have access to healthy meals and a great environment.

Because of this community, we are so close.
After an incredible night celebrating 10 years of help, hope, and healing, we’ve now raised over $4.1 million toward our $4.25 million goal to strengthen and expand our Bloomington facility.

Every day, more than 100 men turn to Wheeler Mission for shelter, meals, and a path toward lasting life transformation.
And in Monroe County, 401 individuals are experiencing homelessness on any given night.
