The enemy is not after your life. He’s after your agreement. Because he understands something powerful…
He cannot control you… but he will try to influence what you believe. So the battle doesn’t always start around you.
It starts within you. A thought. A question.
A quiet suggestion. You’re not ready. You missed it. It’s too late. God won’t do it this time.
And if you’re not careful, what started as a thought becomes an agreement.
And agreement shapes direction. Proverbs 23:7 says, “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”
That means your life will eventually move in the direction of what you consistently believe.
This is why the enemy works so subtly. If he can get you to agree with fear… you will move cautiously.
If he can get you to agree with doubt…
you will hesitate. If he can get you to agree with insecurity… you will shrink back.
But when you come into agreement with God… Everything changes.
Because God is not speaking fear over your life. He is not speaking limitation. He is not speaking defeat.
He is speaking purpose. He is speaking authority. He is speaking identity.
Isaiah 55:8 says, “My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
So there will be moments where what God says… and what you feel… do not match.
That is where the real battle is. Not in your circumstances. In your agreement.
Because whatever voice you come into agreement with… you give permission to shape your life.
So today, pay attention to what you are agreeing with. Are you agreeing with fear?
Or faith?
With doubt? Or promise? With insecurity? Or identity? Because your agreement is not small.
It is powerful.
And when you align your thoughts with what God has spoken… You step into a level of authority the enemy cannot easily disrupt.
So reject the lie. Break agreement with anything God did not say. And come back into alignment with truth. Because your life will follow whatever voice you agree with.
