Today, the intensive Solitary Hero Vajrabhairava (Yamantaka) Retreat began at Kumbum Chamtse-Ling with the sacred Yamantaka Empowerment bestowed by Venerable Minyak Rinpoche.

All participants deeply appreciated Rinpoche’s detailed explanations and guidance on the practice, retreat discipline, proper conduct, and the importance of approaching the retreat with sincere motivation and commitment.

We are very grateful to Venerable Minyak Rinpoche for generously giving this precious empowerment and guiding the participants through this profound Vajrayana practice.

May this retreat become a cause for the purification of negativities, the accumulation of merit and wisdom, and ultimately the benefit of all sentient beings. 🙏

Today, Venerable Minyak Rinpoche & monks will chant 21 Tara and Mandala Offering Puja. Tara represents awakened and compassionate activity. The practice counteracts illness & bestows long life, success in worldly affairs and spiritual development. The monks pray that sentient beings acquire Tara’s excellent traits. The Monks will pray for all sentient beings to be safe and well and that all beings quickly achieve the precious state of perfect and complete Buddhahood.

Prayers for the Victims of the Tibet–Nepal Floods

This morning at Kumbum Chamtse Ling, Ven. Minyak Rinpoche, Geshes, monks, members of the Tibetan community, and local friends and supporters from Indiana gathered together to offer prayers for those affected by the devastating floods in Tibet and Nepal.

We offered prayers for those who lost their lives, for their families, and for all those facing hardship and suffering as a result of this tragedy.

May the deceased find peace, and may all those affected receive comfort, strength, safety, and relief.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us in person and to those who offered prayers from afar.

May all beings be free from suffering. 🙏🪷

Today, from Kumbum Chamtse Ling Temple, we are gathering in prayer for all those affected by the devastating floods in Tibet and Nepal.

We especially remember those who have lost their lives, their families, and all the communities who are suffering because of this disaster. We pray that those who have passed away may rest in peace, and that those affected may find strength, safety, relief, healing, and hope.
