Notification of transition of local leadership

Captains Vinal and Brenna Lee, who have faithfully served our community since 2022, have received new appointments to serve in The Salvation Army Caribbean Territory, effective July 1st. We are deeply grateful for their faithful leadership, pastoral care, and the impact they have made in our community. While we will miss them, we rejoice in God’s continued calling on their lives and ministry.

Please join us for their Farewell Service on Sunday, June 28th, at 8:30am as we celebrate the Lees, thank them for their service, and pray for them as they begin this new chapter.

We are also pleased to welcome Lieutenants Trevor and Julie Reed, who will be joining us as our new Corps Officers. Their first Sunday with us will be July 5th, at 8:30am and we look forward to warmly welcoming them into our corps family.

God is faithful in every season, and we trust His leading as we move forward together.

It is sweet to trust in Jesus. As we concluded our final night of Club 316 for the school year. We ended with a party and a reminder that we can taste and see that the Lord is good.

The Salvation Army is looking for friendly volunteers to help with our annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive at Walmart on July 22!

Help us welcome shoppers, collect donations, organize supplies, and make a difference for Monroe County students preparing for the new school year. ❤️📚✏️

Whether you can serve for one shift or stay longer, your time can help local children start school equipped and encouraged.

Over the weekend women from all across the state gathered at The Salvation Army’s for a worshipful weekend.

We worshiped, we prayed, we ate, laughed and played. Throughout the weekend we explored God’s Word, being reminded why we can have “confident faith,” in God!

Club 316 continues to work on their baking and cooking badge. Tonight's students learned how to make dessert, specifically cake, in preparation for their chopped Junior competition next week as we put together everything we have learned this month.

64 of our students and leaders had a transformational time at the Indiana youth councils. We were invited to consider from Romans what it would mean to be transformed by Jesus. Students made decisions to follow Jesus and be transformed by Holy Spirit. Pray for our students that they would remain steadfast in the journey.
