Join the St. Thomas Adult Choir!
The St. Thomas Adult Choir welcomes singers of all levels to join us as we prepare for Sunday services and special performances. Our first rehearsal will be on Thursday, September 3 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to prepare to sing on Sunday, September 13 at 11 a.m. For more information or to join, please contact Adult Choir Director Ben Wegner or Director of Music Matthew Benkert. We look forward to singing with you!

Trivia Night — Saturday, Sept. 12
What’s the last planet in our solar system? On the periodic table, what letters represent the element Iron? Who wrote The Odyssey? Which gospel name has more than four letters? Bring a team or join one at Pizza and Trivia Night at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 3800 E. Third St. You're invited to bring a salad or dessert, or to contribute to a free-will offering for pizza.
· 5:30 pm - pizza (and salads and desserts)
· 6 pm - team formation
· 6:15 - Trivia starts, led by the Trivia Master Rance
Free event. Donations of salads and desserts are welcomed.

Sunday School Starts September 13
Our Sunday School leaders are preparing for a new year of growing in faith--the only thing missing is you! There are faith formation opportunities for all ages, toddlers to adults every week between worship services. We'll kick off the year with brunch, games, and conversation for kids and parents on Sunday, September 13. Responsible adults, please complete a student information form for your student. Labor Day Potluck—This Sunday, September 6 (the Sunday of Labor Day weekend), we will host a potluck brunch between services. You're invited to bring a dish to share or stick around to help with cleanup, but even if you can't, please come! There's always enough food to share.

This coming Sunday, September 6, at 2:30 p.m. the Bloomington Bach Cantata Project begins its season with. J. S. Bach's "Ich armer Mensch, ich Sündenknecht" BWV 55 diected by Blake Beckemeyer, right here at St Thomas Lutheran Church. Admission is free.
